  • Horse Trust Logo

    Horse Trust

We are developing Horse Life, a cutting-edge research tool for The Horse Trust. For the first time, this platform will combine equine ID data from the Central Equine Database (CED), enabling researchers to recruit horse owners registered on the Digital Stable.

These participants will contribute to longitudinal lifetime studies aimed at improving the health, welfare, and quality of life for both horses and their owners. This innovative approach will provide invaluable insights into equine care, supporting evidence-based advancements for the equestrian community.

  • RVC Logo

    Royal Veterinary College

Working with the Royal Veterinary College, we are enabling horse owners using The Digital Stable App to contribute anonymous horse movement data, including GPS locations and time stamps. This data will be used for spatial and network analysis to enhance our understanding of equine infectious disease risks.

The goal of this project is to identify contact networks and spatiotemporal risk clusters associated with competition and leisure horse movements within the UK. By analyzing these networks, we aim to improve disease risk assessment, surveillance and inform targeted control strategies to mitigate outbreaks.
